Close to 70% of all Meth Labs are found in residential properties, with a high percentage of those in rental properties. Keep in mind that authorities in the US, NZ and Australia agree that only 1 in 10 meth labs are ever found. In the 5 years between 2010 and 2015 in Australia there were 3,680 clandestine laboratories detected. The number of addict based labs increased from 51.6% last year to 60.9% in 2014-15. Meth contamination in residential properties doesn’t disappear on its own it needs to be removed by a certified cleaner.
